Well that's good. Seeing as how I'll use it exclusively for games and Netflix, I might seriously consider it. I don't go to the extremes of some people, but I tend to be careful myself.Tracking protocols? You mean as in Kinect recording you and such? No, Kinect is no longer required for the Xbox One to work, so you don't have to worry about that.
But if you're concerned about privacy keep in mind that you're going to be very vulnerable regardless of Kinect, so long as you use OSX/Windows or run an iPhone/unrooted Android phone. Of course, there's more to staying private that running Linux and installing Cyanogenmod, but you get the point.
