I love this music, but I hate that "Indie" has become a genre. "Back in the day, when I was a kid Indie meant Independent." Ha

It still does still, but now to me it means MGMT, m83, Youth Lagoon type music. When you listen to indie rock stations you can sense the genre that it has become.
