That's incredible. Once achieved, it will be amazing. I'm surprised they can't just bring it low, then dump it into the water with an inflatable deployed to keep it afloat. Is it critical it doesn't get wet? It doesn't seem it if they first tried parachutes.

Apparently, their goal is to land it upon solid ground, and the barge is just a safety measure.
