I couldn't believe this when I read this yesterday. It doesn't seem like the move to make if you want to be taken seriously. Perhaps Syriza are torpedoing their own negotiation by making sure that the German public won't stand for anymore concessions. It may be easier to leave the Euro if it looks like they have no choice.

It is almost unfathomable to read a story like this in 2015. It belongs in an oddities sidebar in a history textbook, or maybe buried in a Bill Bryson chapter. But I'm beginning to realize nothing is sacred. Argentina's government may have called in a hit on a official investigator last month. I'm in "believe every headline" mode.
