I remember seeing a photo of that flyer on Twitter but I didn't realize they were successful.

at the time i thought it was really distasteful but if it all worked out like this then I guess it's cool

How possibly distasteful? His existence is distasteful

I mean, potentially insulting to gay people? But... so is his existence. By definition with Rick Perry in the building it wasn't gonna be a great day for the gay population of Dartmouth.

Considering the sodomy law made explicit sexual acts a matter of legal discussion, and the tide of the social climate that washed that lil legal nugget on shore has long since receded, the questions seem to be comments along the lines of "these are twitter like one-liners that literally what must be going through his head when this topic comes up."

Anti-sodomy laws in this day and age are about personal opinions on the existence of gay sex. There's no other way to cut that cake, you just gotta say it out loud. Plus, I'm always down for making that scrub look stupid.
