liberal values are inconsistent, what a surprise. i'll file this one between "welfare" and "capitalism". but this doesn't damage political discourse. everyone in our society already bears consequences for promoting their viewpoint unless it's mainstream. the author is just mad that the mainstream is changing. If that attitude spreads, it will damage our society. i honestly believe that this would the the absolute best thing for any society.Calls for his ouster were premised on the notion that all support for Proposition 8 was hateful, and that a CEO should be judged not just by his or her conduct in the professional realm, but also by political causes he or she supports as a private citizen.
