I'm not sure if it really fits the #history tag, but it's an interesting tidbit anyway.
This railway line has been abandoned for a while, but you can still see it when walking around in Paris. Access is theoretically forbidden, but there are still ways to get in, or should I say, on the tracks.
Parts of it have been / are being turned into public parks, others are being reused for transportation, converted to other railway stuff.
I'm pretty sure there are places where you can access the forbidden parts of the catacombs from it, too.
