I sense a slight twinge of libertarianism, yes? Ahh, just yanking your chain. I think a step in the right direction would to disband the Federal Reserve entirely. Doesn't it say in the Constitution that only Congress has the right to coin money? Right, here's the relevant excerpt ( Article 1, Section 8 ): "The Congress shall have Power... To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof" How does the Federal Reserve fulfill that when it's a private entity? Isn't that breaking the Constitution?
