Until recently, the right column of Hubski featured a stream of comments. Based on feedback, it seemed that this layout might not be ideal. In this update, Hubski is returning to a spartan format. In addition, we are going to experiment with enhanced hover-text.
If you have your 'hover-text' setting toggled to 'show', when you click on the double arrows (>>) next to a submission, a hover display will appear to the right. Mousing over any >> will remove the display. The display contains some information about the submission, as well as abbreviated content. Images in the submission can be viewed, and videos can be played.
There are a small number of submissions that contain content that breaks the hover-display. I am going to work on those bugs in the next few days. I've tested the hover-display on Chrome, Safari, Firefox 4, and IE 8 browsers. -It works on the first three. Bugs with IE may be addressed if this format seems to work.
As always, feel free to share your feedback and ideas.
I have only my iPhone on me to test it, but it seemed to work well. If you have an iPad at your disposal, please let me know how this works for you. Thanks again for catching this.
