About to check this out but I wanted to say that I have totally been to Waterstone's on Oxford Street, such a great bookstore, right near the Bodleian. Magical, magical town. This was a great list, especially the inclusion of The Tin Drum. kleinbl00 -- you would like that they acknowledged the classic Neuromancer line.
Oxford (home of the Bodleian) is rather far away from Oxford street (in London) I assume you mean you went to Blackwells on Broad Street, Oxford?
Oxford Street was originally the Oxford Road, which led from London to Oxford, so less silly in historical context.
