Nicely tagged. The way of the trade apprenticeship is so undervalued in our society. The world needs more carpenters than anthropologists; why then do our politicians always leave us with the impression that everyone needs to attend university? It's crazy logic: College degree holders earn more; therefore, everyone should go to college! It totally disrupts labor supply and demand.

If you can't pass statistics at a low tier university, you probably have no business in college. It shouldn't be considered any lower of a career choice to train for something interesting as an alternative. Politics has polluted education so badly.
