Well, I think everyone leaves their mark on the world, but there are so many of us it can be like looking through a pile of leaves for one particular leaf. Have you read The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera? It deals with Meaning of Life stuff too, in a way I really enjoyed. I don't know that I've found it yet, but I have noticed some tendencies. I travel a lot, I end up helping people a lot, I write a lot and I cook a lot. Somewhere in that little square I just might find some meaning.
