Tidal recently made me aware of Cold Cave, a one-man operation out of Los Angeles that's kind of like a semi-talented coverband that does '80s New Order and Sisters of Mercy tunes but only the ones that aren't anyone's favorites. I am ambivalent about this. On the one hand, I kinda like New Order and Sisters of Mercy. On the other hand, Cold Cave doesn't exactly bring anything new to the table. It's like Goth fanfic.
