Y'know... I've been thinking. Thinking hard. And I don't particularly enjoy that sort of thing. But I'm feeling really pretty brave today, so here goes:

It would just be better to not have to read or write at all. It's so tedious, and scary, the very act of making this comment. However, I'm a charitable guy, I guess.

Budgetarily? We would be cutting out a heck of a lot of tax costs by not teaching children to read in schools. A huge chunk of elementary school. Children could learn work sooner, which will make more money. And then no need for libraries at all (more savings!). Besides, there's a LOT of words to read available in Amazon book preview jaypegs, if you look for them.

No one will say it, but bookfires' warmth could of course liberate europe from russian natural gas dependency in the wintertime.

Parents already know how to read. Parents can teach their kids reading at night, when they're not working (if they choose; that is freedom). If a family is virtuous enough, the kids might even get better at reading in comparison to broken family kids. Which might be bad, I'm not sure.

Pictures are so much better, and movies are made of pictures, so I say we just do mostly movies. The movies should not be based on old books, unless they're comic books, which are mostly pictures. Some comic books though aren't probably what's best for Western values, is what the analysis shows, so I think maybe forget about comics as well.

My God, I am so uncomfortable already with all this controversy, so I am posting this essay anonymously, hoping for no punishment. I wouldn't be worrying if I wasn't this burdened with stupid education, things need to change.
