I used to build balsa wood and tissue paper planes. Both free-flight, and R/C gliders with 2-meter wingspans. From this: To this: I have replaced that hobby with motorcycles, I think. It's more gratifying to ride the final product, than to watch it crash when an errant radio signal causes you to lose control... :-)
