I mean good on 'em but

    Technical details of the satellite are to be announced as the project solidifies. We can probably expect something like a 6U CubeSat loaded with instruments focused on detecting certain gases and particulates.

That's smaller than a shoebox. 10cm x 20cm x 30cm. I watched Icesat 2 go up yesterday. It does nothing but measure ice thickness with a single LIDAR instrument. It's 3400lb of LEOStar-3 goodness.

So.... good on 'em but that's a mere $1.4m to transfer orbit. California spent a billion dollars adding a carpool lane to the 405. Color me skeptical.
