::Resurrects Thread:: I collect quite a bit actually and for different reasons. I collect comics, in trade paperback form, for the stories. The cost of comics can be quote a bit, especially over time, so I'm very selective about the books I collect. I want good stories and good art. I also collect antiques, though my collecting has slowed down significantly in the past few years. They can get expensive easily and just sit there collecting dust, so there's not much practical use to collecting antiques. That said, I love trying to research something and learn about it. You'd be amazed at what you can learn about manufacturing, politics, business, and history just by researching antiques. The thrill of haggling and bargain hunting is a bonus as well. Lastly, I collect cds, movies, and books, mostly because I just don't feel like letting them go.
