I also haven't started. The only people I find it difficult to shop for are my mother and sister. Most of the other people who I buy presents for have hobbies or at least like decent booze. I prefer to give consumables when possible, probably because I like to receive them so much. Just ten minutes ago I was given a gift of sweets from an Indian graduate student's home town. Can't wait to break it open. Nothing makes me happier than getting some unique food or a decent bottle of scotch or champagne. I tend to give gift of that sort. A friend of mine was hosting a Christmas party the other day, and we made a gingerbread house of her house as a gift. It was a huge hit, and was a ton of fun to put some effort into, as I'd never done anything of the sort before.
