I saw Autechre in Detroit in 1999 and it was pretty sweet. They have quite a few albums so I would try and listen to things from different years.
That Apparat reminds me a lot of Telefon Tel Aviv. If you don't have Farenheit Fair Enough then please do. Get Mum's Finally We Are No One. Ratatat's eponymous. Evax's Parking Lot Music. All that stuff is older though, but really solid. For newer electronic I would check out Flying Lotus's Los Angeles Ford and Lopatin's Channel Pressure Gang Gang Dance's Eye Contact Shigeto's Full Circle Washed Out's Within and Without SBTRKT's eponymous Pulseprogramming's Tulsa for One Second Actress's R.I.P.
