I see a Modigliani print every day at work and thought his features would look good in that style. Long neck, long nose. I didn't ape that style very well so it's just a David Bowie painting. Even simple looking stuff like Modigliani or some Picasso takes a lot of talent to copy or adapt successfully. Jackson Pollock is hard to copy. All you modern art detractors out there should know that before you're tempted to say a five year old could do something.
