Right. The Yudikowsky ploy: "Of course it'll take over the world, it's hyperintelligent." These arguments always come from philosphers, though. Not engineers. Not psychologists. Not scientists. It's the same hand-wavey bullshit as above. "So how are you going to convince every single human on Twitter that the news isn't falsified?" "It's hyperintelligent - how can it not?"
