You're comparing songwriting skills and in that case there is no comparison between Ringonand his band mates. Regarding his drumming though, it's iconic for a good reason, Ringo is the ultimate when it comes to suiting the song. I used to play with a drummer named Dan Piccolo, fantastic player, that used to say that he wanted his drumming to sound "inevitable. -like that is the only possible beat or fill that could be in that song." To me, Ringo's drumming is inevitable. The example they give of "Come Together" is a good one to demonstrate this.
