Been living alone in the Keys for the past week. A companion is on her way down now to join me for the next two weeks. It will be fine, but less nudity (or maybe more.) The lack of any civilizing forces here got me thinking about Lord of the Flies - required reading in a lot of Canadian high schools, even in the 00s, maybe still. I have a friend who was traumatized by being forced to read Lord of the Flies. He was chubby and wore glasses and never recovered from the death of Piggy.
