Nice post. I'm a believer that we're currently in a "Dark Age" of education in the U.S. The economy soured and we all panicked, looking for a solution. "Let's just do better on those tests!" we all said. "That'll put us back on top!"
Yes, it may. On top of the testing leaderboard.
On the brighter side, posts like this, I feel are the beacons of hope, as more of us return to the light of a wholly educated individual as the purpose of our educational system.
