It would be interesting to see if he could switch back and forth and eventually gain proficiency with both bicycles. I wondered if one could try and learn to ride a bike with a steering wheel instead of handlebars as a shortcut. It's been done. You could try steering from the top of the wheel for the traditional style, or the bottom for reverse. It's not hard to drive a car that way...I wanted to see if his son had a problem returning to a normal bike.
