Gave up... a couple years of happiness before I decided to deal with a festering grief problem that had turned me from my joyful self into a sad sack. As for material things, nothing really comes to mind. I don't attach much value to "stuff," so anything of monetary value is unlikely to be something I'd miss.
I do miss the geese my parents made me give away in my teenage years, but it was for good reason; they were terrorizing my ducks.
