    Give it gladly, if only to teach that any life – regardless of having existed long – is lived long only if one spends their life in extending a hand to another who needs it.

I don't truly believe this. Do you? I believe it is good to help others, but I do not believe that helping others is the only way to live either a very realized, very utilized, or very full life.

I find myself struggling with this idea of "living long." Is it supposed to mean a life with meaning or a life full of experience? I tend to believe the latter, it makes more sense.

I also want to ask: what is so great about a yes world? The essay begins by presenting it in what seems to me a negative light, but then proposes we maintain that status quo.
