My buddies brother is a beekeeper. He was transporting his bees on the highway and had an accident where the truck flipped on its side letting the bees escape. He said he wasn't worried because it's general practice to ship the bees separate from the queen and that they would all eventually make their way back to her. Not sure if distance is a factor in this but it's at least a cool thought. Thanks for the post!
