1) It's dusk in this desert, the sun is going down. There's a cool breeze blowing, a stark contrast to the heat of the day. The dunes roll far into the distance, the only distinguishing features are some mountains off in the distance. 2) There's a black cube, 6"x6"x6" are the diameters. It's kind of just sitting there. Looking ominous and otherworldly. I'm not touching that. 3) Someone left a wooden ladder just laying in the sand. It looks pretty worn. Why would you need a ladder? There's nothing to climb here... 4) There's a brown Clydesdale chilling by the ladder. As far as I know he has no name. 5) The storm rolling in is dark and horribly daunting. Every few seconds there's a blinding flash of light quickly followed by a deafening roar. 6) Having trouble picturing flowers. There's no flowers here.
