Hey cW, here is the guy I was complaining about to you in my #evox and e-mail. This video is not the same interview as the one in the article I mentioned and I haven't watched it all. When asked about the perspective that the state should only serve as a "night watchman" guarantor of property rights, he completely dodges and says "we know" the state must do more. David Harvey says it, I believe it, that settles it! lil, I also blasted you with a long PM about Dr. Harvey's book. Do you mind if I repost my comments here?FYI, this is the guy who sparked my whining on his critique of capitalism. A lot of this interview is opaque and hard for me to understand. The parts I do understand are hard to agree with. When he is asked to define capital he says it is a process, but the usual understanding is that capital is wealth and stuff. If he wants to speak clearly about capital, he should stick with the usual definitions.
