The beat is subject to change- I sent the song to my ne'r-do-well drummer, who may or may not pick up the slack. He drives me crazy, but he also happens to be one of the best drummers I've ever known, at least in a rock/pop/hip hop capacity. So the gamble is worth it. -Back in the Michigan days of The New Green, I had a similar issue with our drummer. It wasn't that he was flaky, he wasn't; in fact, he was extremely responsible. The problem was that he was a professional musician that earned his living via drumming and would take any gig that payed as priority. The New Green shows didn't pay all that much and therefore rehearsal wasn't priority. It was a bummer but at the same time, I completely understood. Thankfully, he was so good that in one rehearsal he'd be ready. In the studio he was a bit high-maintenance though, he took WAY too long to set up and was way too picky with his sound etc. Tended to butt heads with engineers etc. But when it came to playing, man was he awesome. (also, his high-maintenance paid off, the drums sound great)

As I mentioned a while back, I do have some unfinished stuff to bring to the Hubski round table. One of those is a beat that I never did anything with, so once again it looks like our minds are working in tandem. Will upload when I get some free time. -This is extremely exciting to me. If, by chance you have time to upload today or early tonight, I will have time around 10:30pm EST to record some music. If not, I understand and I'll work on something else.
