My HTC Desire.
Thou hast served me so well.
-
You refused to crack under pressure;
The metal staircase in Australia,
Many o' drunken nights around New York,
Falling again and again out of my jeans that are too tight,
Or my fingers that are too slippery.
-
But alas, old friend.
The amount of times I have dropped you,
is now equal to the number of calls thou hast dropped.
-
You no longer have energy
and shut off without warning
or consideration of my conversations.
And I must leave you for an iPhone once again.
-
But fret not!
I will store you safely in my desk drawer.
And next weekend when I get shitfaced and drop my new iPhone,
I will return to thee and once again.
-
And on sleepless nights,
I will touch thee with my fingertips,
and press thee to my face,
and you can hear my thoughts,
and desires,
once again.

Here's another short one: Again, I love the poem insom. Thanks for sharing.
There were a few other poems tucked in there amongst addresses I have forgotten why were in there and book, movie and music suggestions from friends. Barefoot windshield
White cotton yields
Hand sways out
The passanger mouth
I find reasons to pass
Reasons to slow
But there she goes
There she goes
Poetry is the best way for me to remember important moments and events. It made for an interesting flight. When you measure your life
By the fullness of your nets
It's going to taste of
sweat
soft pain
and regret
