Maybe Clarence divorces Ginni by overturning interracial marriage protections sometime in 2024. Seriously though, I fully expect them to go for gay marriage next, simply because it doesn't affect any conservative SCOTUS member personally.

Just to say it one. more. time, the GOP is a political party now seemingly untethered to popular opinion. I'm worried that everyone thinking "SCOTUS dog caught the car!" or "GOP going to pay this November!" is stuck in a mythical American past when we had a society much more capable of righting itself against minority rule.

It won’t matter most places. It may, however, in Michigan and Wisconsin. As far as I can tell from everything I’ve read those are the two lean democrat states that will have restrictive abortion laws. GOP will have difficulty winning the presidency without them. So it might matter, but not in the apocalyptic sense that so many pissed off people are supposing.
