Forced sterilization has a fine secular tradition. You can be evil while thinking you're good without Jesus whispering in your ear.

"Racism", "a fundamental disrespect for human rights" and "devout Christianity" have some overlap on the Venn diagram. You could probably even tease out a correlation.

But it's not the maxim you think it is.

You can.

When you talk to people who defend this (I have), religion gets cited.

When they stop openly using it as justification I will stop ascribing it to them.

'k go ahead and blame the forced sterilization of Uyghurs on Christianity real quick

I haven't done so.

I've blamed the political justification and origin of the political willpower for the forced sterilization of the population of the concentration camps maintained by the United States on Christianity.

Edit*

I took two semesters of Medical Ethics. I'm more than familiar with the history of forced sterilization/ eugenics in the United States. As an undesirable I'm doubly aware.
