Went on a week-long trip to Louisiana

Went to NYC

Went to Vegas

Went to Cuba

Did a lot of travel vlogging during that time.

Then I got a job as a rock photographer and travelled around the states taking pictures for 4 months. Learned how to use a camera properly, and got over my anxiety of driving.

That job brought me to some unexpected places like St Louis. And Virginia Beach and Atlanta. Probably would have never visited otherwise.

Went to Burning Man for the first time that summer. Met with Blob_Castle there, and other Hubski folks after that in LA. Also met some Youtube people for the first time.

Went to Portugal in the fall.

Got a sponsored trip to cities around Montreal in the winter.

Did a corporate portrait shoot of like 200 people for that rock company I worked at in the summer.

Spent the winter learning how to snowboard.

Did a month long trip from Berlin - Warsaw - Ukraine where I visited Chernobyl and did a bunch of cool shit in the spring. Vlogged a LOT during that trip. Haven't touched my camera since.

Came back home and started a tour on AirBNB where we show people speakeasy bars with my friend. It has picked up like crazy and it's going great. Which is good because I was running out of money.

Served 100 people with Ramen at our regional burn event.

Did a mini roadtrip out east and attempted whale watching.

Lots of wedding related events for my boyfriend's sister this summer. The wedding's in 2 weeks.

Went to Burning Man for the second time. It was great! Thinking of going to Africa Burn this year.

Had a really cool weekend at the country house with a bunch of friends. Been messing around with a projection mapping software the past couple weeks. Also been googling safety protocol for fire spinning and making fire puffers: https://foxfuramused.com/2011/10/12/fire-toys/

I also want to go on some fall hikes, and to India for a couple months sometime soon.

It's been a good 2 years :)

You really seem to have experienced a lot during these two years. I feel like I have mostly been putting myself back together, but that is a wonderful feeling. I'm doing better than I thought possible 2 years ago, and I am hopeful that that trend will continue.

It’s a lot because I graduated university and realized I don’t want to slave away in an office. I’m terrible at it and I hate it. So it’s been a lot of figuring out what I could do to earn money differently. Also, I love traveling so as soon as I save up a bit I like to go on an adventure. It’s been really stressful at times, seeing my savings dwindling without any concrete plan ahead. I lucked out with the tour idea, so it all seems worth it now but there were moments in there I didn’t know how long I could keep going. I like to always have a couple projects going, and something usually pans out. I’ve noticed I get really unhappy if I don’t feel I’m being “productive “. Even just having fun is a lot of “work”...

Good luck on the continuation of putting yourself together :) I feel that’s a lot of what we all do, all through life. It’s a constant struggle, but it’s nice to look back and see how much he been done too!

In a way it doesn't even feel that hard anymore. Even now, while being on hour 5 of a horrible migraine. A surprising amount of problems in life can be solved with positive thinking. Granted, you need a functioning brain for that, which I now have thanks to my lithium deficiency being solved.
