I mostly disagree with that statement too, on principle. If you've got a solid career that you find somewhat fulfilling and allows you to provide for yourself and save a little bit, and you REALLY want to spend your free time driving a digital big-rig across Rural wherever, that's fine and dandy. the problem described by this and similar articles is not 'Man what a shitty use of leisure time.' The problem is 'Leisure time has now replaced productive time because there is no productive venture to be had.'
