That is quite a high aim. I'm not sure I buy it though. As idealistic as it seems, especially when politics are involved, I just don't see it moving remotely in that direction. I'm not saying I don't think the science is correct, or anything like that. I just think de Grey glosses over way too many obstacles, but of course you always hold on to the hope of it all.

I've met Aubrey, I've read his book and I'm sure that there aren't many people more familiar with the obstacles. I think he can perhaps seem like he is "glossing over, because he answers the same questions about them over and over and over and eventually, you take large answers and boil them down to an elevator pitch, if nothing else, to save your own sanity.

Aubrey is a crusader. We need more Aubreys. Aging is a disease and we need to solve it.
