Excellent. Lock 'em out! What kind of name is Cresent anyway.
Interesting take on this in NYT the other day: http://www.nytimes.com/2015/06/30/opinion/lets-fix-our-national-parks-not-add-more.html
Fever as someone that works in this area, what's your take?
- True conservation is taking care of the land and water you already have, not insatiably acquiring more and hoping it manages itself.
Oh. Thanks, New York Times, I didn't know that facet of the definition.
Anyway, I'm so tired of NYT op eds, my god. It's like they can't get any dumber. False dichotomy here.
I of course would love it if we stopped funding literally everything and put it in conservation. I'm an extremist. We don't need a military, and education doesn't really matter either. I'm a one-issue non-voter. I've spent many a day by the Merced River; anyone who is directly or indirectly responsible for fouling it with sewage should be sent to the chair.
I will confess I'm baffled by the Texas designation. Waco is not in East Texas, and it's not pretty. East Texas is pretty -- but has nothing to do with Waco. So who knows what they're doing. Something about mammoths?
