Interesting that it is becoming a referendum on sales tax. Personally, I would be apt to vote for it because I'm not a fan of sales tax. I don't see that it's necessary or efficient to tax me when I make my money and then again when I spend it.

Online sales were up over 20% last year according to the credit card industry. If sales tax exists for "brick and mortar" stores, it should for online retailers as well. If it is abolished altogether and our taxes are solely income based, thats fine too. But there should be parody between online/storefront otherwise there is going to be an unaccounted for tax disparity.
