Sadly, it seems that the team isn't going to be viable. All the kids who were on the team last year are in high school now, and they all want to play for their school clubs. Not really surprising, considering the number of chicks that come to the games. I was actually looking forward to being around a bunch of milfs, but, alas, my hopes may be dashed.
That's a bummer, have you thought about looking in to other teams? Not that you don't have enough on your plate as it is...
Yeah, weekends are valuable things, I can't say as I blame you. When I was coaching my daughters soccer team, every game/practice was at 8am on Saturdays. "What?!" Was my response when I found out. I had no idea what I had signed up for. That's just too early on a weekend, plus because I was the coach and not just some parent, I couldn't be cavalier about her(me) missing any games. We had to forego a couple of nice weekend trips because of coaching.
