Whatever, you filthy democrats. Thermometers have an extensively documented liberal bias.

In all seriousness, I cringed when I watched Gore's movie because he politicized a scientific topic that involves the entire world. It was a short-sighted, US-centric effort.

But he invented the Internet, mk! He's a Hubski co-founder, by right.

In all seriousness, you're right, the political line-drawing seems to heavily originate from "An Inconvenient Truth". I was just beginning to science when it came out, but I still couldn't care less what a politician has to say on the subject. When you have an entire field of scientists agreeing to a 97%+ consensus, that's what sells me on it.

Don't get me wrong, I've seen some stupid studies on global warming, things that make me say "really, did we need to fund that?". It's just terribly unfortunate that almost half the population of the United States believes it's all just some conspiracy engineered to regulate businesses and secure climatology funding. I mean, what if we cleaned up the planet for nothing, right? What a tragedy that would be.

Some people choose to believe in global warming because they're Democrats, and that's what they were told to believe. Those people are not my friends. But dammit if I don't enjoy a good satirization of the Republicans' arguments.

Why you have to be so harsh on thermometers? Mercury is really pulling all the strings.

Mercury= planet in our solar system

Nasa wants to discover the solar system

Nasa is supported by Obama

Nasa is liberal

Therefore the liberals want to discover the solar system

Mercury is part of the solar system

Mercury is controlled by liberals

MIND=BLOWN

I think he meant the "Hg" type of Mercury, but I've gone ahead and posted your theory to every major political forum on the 'net.

Great job! :D
