I wrote/recorded this a while back and it was just so damned vanilla and "cutesy" lyrically that I hated it. I needed to "break it" so I did. Perhaps broken it's actually more interesting? It's not like you're in the habit of writing twee songs. A lot of your posted content is pretty heavy- doesn't seem like there's anything wrong with cutting it every once in a while with lighter lyrics. And yeah, juxtaposed against the guitar, they don't come off as so precious. You planning on taking it further?
