There are some really beautiful arthropods out there. I just wish I didn't find their movements so startling. I really think that that's where much of the creepiness factor comes in, at least for me.
Yeah, there's a really amazing juxtaposition between the absolute disgust they can produce in people and their sublime beauty. I think the beauty is only appreciable in museums or in artistic reproductions. I want this book, but I looked it up and it's about $40. Maybe after the Christmas season.
