Some beers seem to be fine - the darker they are the better they fare. I've had ten-fiddy and there is no real difference if you put it in a good glass and let it warm up, for example. -XC
That's true. Some beers do fine out of the bottle compared to the tap. Best case I can think of to illustrate that is http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/73/226 Great Lakes Brewings Edmund Fitzgerald Porter. To my still developing beer-buds it tastes almost exactly the same from bottle or tap.
