I don't smoke pot; I don't have the desire, or the time these days. However, I'll be damned if the government should mandate whether or not I'm allowed to do so. As our population ages and the old-guard is gone, I imagine this 58% will increase every year exponentially.
182 million americans favor legalizing it. 182 million! (well, if it was truly 58% of 314 M) I wish they would just legalize it all at once instead of spending millions/billions fighting this fight for the next 2 decades while it slowly becomes more legal in each state. What a stupid process.
This statistic immediately makes me curious about that one person in four that tried it but is opposed. What happened to them? Born again? Bad trip? Crappy weed? There's a story there. Conversely, I immediately like the guy/gal that's never tried it but is sensible enough to recognize that it should be legal.
