NF-κB is a pretty high-level signaling molecule, so I would be surprised if it were as simple as blocking it in humans. There's a lot of things that mice don't have to worry about that we do, and it likely that a drug like this would mess you up in some unanticipated way. Still, the next step would be moving this to primates. One problem, is that less bureaucracy often comes with shoddier research. It's a shame, but it's downright difficult not to be very skeptical of everything coming out of China.
