Recently I played mostly defense, but back when I was in gradeschool I was a striker. Just make sure you take care of yourself and respect your injuries and body. If you really love the sport, take injuries as seriously as the pros do. You wouldn't catch a pro playing with a possibly broken foot or torn tendon because they are in it for the long haul :) You only get one body! Only 513 days till the World Cup in Brazil :)
