These are just the numbers that fb released the real number is much higher between 1/2 and 2/3. I think this is damage control.
the one billion active account the number Zuckerman has been saying means 1/7 of the earths population logs in regularly. But since only around 2/7 of the earth has internet access the "genius" wants us to believe half of people on the internet use facebook. he knows that he is lying because I am sure that he has noticed the sources of his traffic I am sure that the number of active facebook accounts with u.s. ips is a few times greater than the u.s. population.
