Well I bought him a personalized leather journal and I hand wrote this out in it for him. When I gave it to him, he sat there and read the whole thing out loud to me. When he was done he said, wow, it looks like you put a lot of thought into this - I love it. I am so fortunate to have such a good and appreciative son. He only stumbled on a few words in the whole thing (my handwriting can be fairly atrocious too - haha). I asked him if he would like to have it on a poster to hang in his room and he said definitely. So I worked up a fully poster incorporating the image I shared earlier and showed it to him and he liked it, so I ordered a couple of prints. They should be showing up today. I think this is the best thing you can do. Talk talk talk to your kids. And then talk some more. Share your perspectives with them. Share your life with them. And they'll all turn out just right.
