    -no, people didn't like it.

Just to clarify here since I was one of the people who said they liked no music....

If you are going to use the "meethubski" tag as a way to sell the community to the outside world, then the music over the voice is fine. It has become the standard for the way an interview is conducted and most people are not going to have an issue with that format.

However, if these are for the community, so that we can have a voice, tone, personality to the words on screen, then the no music works better. Music overs, especially loaded music scores, can have a major impact on the mind space of the listener. Example given: every time I see an arguewithatree post I hear cats meowing over a Beatles' song. It was such an excellent choice of music-over that at least in my head that music will always be HER in my head.

The objecting I had to the music was more of a functional choice, not a style choice. Now I know how Lil speaks, or coffeespoons, or rinx etc, and I can put a conversational voice to the text. The music, again to me, is distracting from the ability to do that. As goobster said, it is easier to focus on what is being said.
